How to Reduce Bounce Rate By Asynchronous Scripts

Bounce rate is a scale factor which tells that In which rate users are leaving your site from the pages they entered in your site. Bounce rate plays an important role in your site ranking.

To understand Bounce rate more accurately let me take an example to make you understand more clearly.

For example I've created a New Web Development Blog and wrote some articles, Google indexed my some articles and a user came to my site through an article link of my blog, If the user leave my site without opening other pages of my site then Bounce rate of my site will be increased, In simple words Increased bounce rate means you have poor content and visitors are not interested in your content.

Bounce rate is a major factor for ranking, A website with low bounce rate will be indexed first. It is important to maintain site bounce rate minimum as possible.

How to minimize Bounce Rate?

To minimize bounce rate first of all create some really good contents in your blog, Increase the length of articles so that people can spend more time in your site.

Use Asynchronous Version of scripts

Using asynchronous scripts you allow your users to see your page content quickly instead of forcing them to wait for a script to be downloaded before complete article appear to them. Many bloggers use Advertisements, Social sharing scripts, Google analytics script, comment box scripts which start downloading when user click to your site, Due to which the page of your site loads slowly, which gives bad user experience and user may leave your site instantly and your bounce rate will increases hence it is recommended to use asynchronous version of these scripts so that your page content load first and then scripts.

Do not bore your users

A user will leave your site Instantly if he doesn't find interesting content in your site. So write the main words of your articles in bold or italic format. With some really pleasant Images, Images are really a part of attraction a well optimized image attracts visitors.

Create Some Category Pages

Well this is the major tactic to reduce bounce rate of your site, Create some category pages in which put the url of other pages and use title in the link text. By doing this you will force your users to open other pages of your site, when a user opens more than one pages of your site then the bounce rate of your site will decrease.

Bonus Tip

Do not share your article link in social networking site directly, Just share the link of category pages, but use the title of your post and link of category pages, When you do so the user will come to your site by reading the title of new post but he arrived to your category pages where you have put the title of new post with link, user will see the title of your post and click the link of that post.

Conclusion

Your bounce rate has reduced and you got minimum 2 page views from a single user, You can get more page views from the single user by forcing them to open other pages.
